The popular DVD disc that was invented in 1995 & the popular Blu-Ray disc that was invented in 2005 will be having it's last run.
The well known electronics store Best Buy that sells, video games, cds, dvds, blu-rays, & much more will no longer be selling DVDs or Blu-Rays in more than 900 of its stores nationwide in 2024 & on it's website according to CNBC.
“To state the obvious, the way we watch movies and TV shows is much different today than it was decades ago,” a spokesperson for the electronics chain told Variety on Friday.
